The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition adds three new shops with mouse controls, bringing the total number of shops to 15.

You can also interact with Tamagotchi, solving their problems and making the shops thrive and the town super lively!
In addition, for the first time in the series, Offline two player mode is available for some shops!

For Nintendo Switch users who purchase Tamagotchi Plaza Nintendo Switch 2 Edition but do not yet own a Nintendo Switch 2 console with the same Nintendo Account linked: Due to system specifications, the game will not automatically download to your Nintendo Switch console. You will need to manually download the game through the Nintendo eShop by accessing your Purchase History or by using the provided Virtual Game Card.
