How to Lower the Maximum Headphone Volume on Nintendo Switch 2
Steps for enabling or disabling the Lower Max Headphone Volume setting for headphones or speakers connected to the console's audio jack, USB ports, or wireless Bluetooth connection.
Complete these steps
From the HOME Menu, select System Settings.
Scroll down to Audio.
In the Audio options, scroll down to the Lower Max Headphone Volume option and toggle it on or off as desired.
When this option is turned off, the maximum output volume from audio devices connected to the audio jack, USB ports, or wireless Bluetooth connection will increase.
Conversely, when this feature is turned on, the maximum output volume from audio devices connected to the audio jack, USB ports or wireless Bluetooth connection will decrease.
Additional information
This feature does not affect the volume on the console's built-in speakers.
Volume changes may occur when using the same Bluetooth audio device across multiple devices including Nintendo Switch 2.
